Category: life or something like it

I walked in the door to find my sweet husband eating left over Brussel sprouts from the fridge. I kissed his neck and whispered, “Get me out of here.” Or something dramatic along those lines. We jumped in the car and headed across the bridge. Every single time I see the Mississippi she makes me […]

Hello friends! I want to tell you everything and nothing at the same time. How are you? I would promise to be better at this blogging bit but we both know it would only be half true. I am getting better about not over promising myself. So here I am today, a mason jar of […]

Hello friends! Today is my birthday. I hope that means you will forgive my absence. I completely missed blogging during my thirty-second year of life. It wasn’t planned but the days happened and here we are now. Garrett woke me up this morning singing, “I’m feeling thirty-three” and it does have a nice ring to […]

I have a to do list a mile long but I want to share a story. I need to remember it. So I pour a cup of coffee and here I am this early Friday morning. I don’t know where you will be in your day or what will be on your mind. Sometimes it’s easy […]

It’s not something personal, it happens to everyone and for those of us that have the privilege of choosing […]

Recently I came across a Pinterest recipe that has stolen our hearts. It’s simple yet satisfying. One day I was craving a Snickers and decided to try and find a recipe for something I could make without a trip to the store for eggs… which would have inevitably led to me purchasing desired Snickers and […]

The best part of moving into a new space is how it naturally forces you to shake things up. The limitations give you boundaries and this direction helps things fall into place. One of my favorite things to do as little girl was play Barbies. Though looking back it wasn’t so much the Barbies as the creating […]
